1017.0. "Delay on FDDI higher than ethernet?" by CX3PST::JAZZIZ::DICKERSON () Wed Jul 07 1993 20:44

I've got a customer who wants to know why the delay on his FDDI circuits 
is always 3 while the delay on the ethernet circuit is 0 or 1.

Given that the delay is the estimated round trip in seconds from the local
node to the remote and back and given that the configuration is:

	One DECconcentrator 500 with a 6610 and a 7610 connected 
	to it via about 5M of fiber each.  Both the 7610 and 6610 
	each is also connected to an ethernet.

I have no explanation for this behavior.  I have included counter information
below.  Nothing bad seems to be going on.

Any ideas??
