Hi,
We've a customer here planning to interconnect various equipments via FDDI:
VMS and OpenVMS(AXP) clusters, NFS workstations and systems
(Sun and AXP OSF/1).
We would probably begin by an local interconnect around a DECconcentrator.
No decision has been made yet concerning cabling and topology.
In my understanding, only optic connections (DEFTA-FA) are supported on both
OpenVMS and DEC OSF/1.
Are there any plans to allow copper-based FDDI controllers on those platforms.
