What revisions,images do i need?
From where can i get these files?

If something fails during an upgrade can or maybe must the old image be restored (stored in the chip?!).

Current versions available on november's CDROM are :

    . DECconcentrator 500 v.3.1 (DEFCN031.A)
Last november, v.3.2 has been announced but I have not yet
    	seen a kit.

    . DECbridge 500 v.3.0 (DEFEB030.A)
This is the latest kit for DECbridge 500, if you need new
functions (ie: SNMP SET), you must upgrade you AP board
(AP2 or AP3) to set it as a DECbrideg 5xx

    . DECbridge 5xx/6xx v.1.2 (DEFBR012.A)
For unknown reasons, it isn't on november's CDROM
see previous note for update version of 1.2 (v.1.2B)
a v.1.3 is currently in Field Test.

You can't have multiple versions in your NVRAM, so if you want to
downgrade your hardware, you need to reload the old version.
When you upgrade a box, just take care of never powering off the
box when the LEDs are flashing or you will need to replace the
    module handling the firmware...

By the way, current versions are running on a lot of customer's sites
so you must used them without problem...
