GIGAswitch Systems Engineering welcomes you to the
GIGAswitch Notes Conference!
SCHOOL::GIGAswitch
The purpose of this conference is to identify, focus, and
record the product features and functions of GIGAswitch; for
use by field personnel.
As such it will include the following:
o Product Definitions & Dependencies
o Reports & Data
o Forum for Technical Discussion
2 Conference Structure
2.1 Usage
In an effort to keep the conference focused on the project,
we will limit the inclusion of topics of a general nature, or
those which tend to wander from the stated purpose. Users
therefore are requested to abide by these guidelines:
o The information in the conference has significant future
business impact for the company [CURRENTLY UNNANOUNCED PRODUCT]
and shoud be treated as Digital Confidential
o Suggestions for new topics should be sent to the
moderator, with justification for inclusion. The overriding
consideration will be "does it add value to the focus on
the product?"
2.2 Format
Since documents and reports are authored in different places,
they will likely be found in varying forms. When a large or
complex file (ie. postscript) is included, there will be a
mechanism to warn the user as follows:
