Folks, Has anybody out there come across the following pieces of kit. 1) long line fiber optic HOST CONVERTER. (llf01) 2) long line fiber optic PRINTER CONVERTER. They are both at opposite ends of a fiber run. No 1 at the system end and No 2 at the printer end. There is a small green led on the llf01s. What state should this led be in and under what conditions, ie on all of the time, or on only when data is being transmitted. It is the first config like this I have come across and it is not working. Thanks. Mike.

These are not FDDI (or NaC) devices. Try contacting the printers (VIPS) organization or the printserver notesfile. (I don't have a pointer.) | |||||
