    I responded about a week ago to the 2 people and 1 group, listed
    below, about customers that I have that are looking for a Q-BUS FDDI
    controller.

    PSDVAX::PHILIPPON
    VMSMKT::VMS_PARTNER
    PORI::SCHMIDT
    After considering my customers options it looks like this is the
    only way to go. Some of them won't be able to use dual rail Ethernet
    as most of the client(s) only support 1 controller.

    Given that Ethernet is 10Mb (1.25MB) per second then the "old" Q-BUS
    (3-3.3MB) would give about 2.5 times better performance. Performance
    that the VAX 4500 and others could use.

    Could someone please send me mail as to what's happening in this
    regard? I just finished delivering the latest FDDI PID and if it's
    no for the Q-BUS then I'm packing my bags and leaving town. That's
    how strong their feelings are about this issue.
