I have received the following questions from a customer, however I am not fluent in FDDI...pointers to notes, docs, appreciated where applicable. Thanks. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I have some questions about the Turbochannel FDDI Adapter driver. The adapter name is DEFZA. I have the following questions: - What is the device driver name? - What is the DECnet line ID for this device? (Such as QNA-0 for a DEQNA.) - In what version of VMS will the driver be available?

| The driver will be FCDRIVER. The devices will appear as FC devices.

    The DECnet line/circuit name is FZA-0.

    It will be supported in a release that will PROBABLY be called V5.5-2;
    but there are no guarantees on the name of the release. That version
    OF VMS should be available in a few months.
