    Regarding earlier notes about AppleTalk and bridge doing thr
    translation for the ATK error.
    
    Suppose server is connected ONLY to FDDI for AppleTalk, ie traffic only
    goes through one bridge translation (not a second one to get back on
    Ethernet).
    
    Will VAX still serve the Macs correctly?
    
    That is, does the server not care about what the protocol translation
    was?  Seems as though server on Ethernet and server on FDDI will have
    different codes.  Does it make a difference?
