Does anyone have any experience with DEC FDDI equipment
connected to a FiberMUX 255?
We have a VAXcluster Multi-Datacenter Facility customer
in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Bell is providing the FDDI connection
between sites. They are running single mode fiber between sites
with a FiberMUX 255 owned by Wisconsin Bell at each end. There
is then a multi-mode connection provided from the 255s to
DECconcentrators on each end. The customer has asked us if this
will work. If the 255 is an ANSI compliant wiring concentrator
that actually works well we should be all set.
