I am providing consultancy regarding network management.
Glaxo GGR in the UK are considering the use of FDDI bridge-routers from
Network Systems Corporation (based in Minneapolis). The main attraction
is a T3 WAN link capability. It is probable that DEC would be the first
point of contact for all network operational issues and that NSC would be
sub-contracted to provide maintenance.
Has anybody seen these NCS 6000 series bridge-routers in use?
If so, are there any issues which are likely to cause problems?
Do they inter-operate with our products?
Regards
Barry Lowry.

The VAXcluster Multi-Datacenter Facility product folks have been in touch with Vitalink/NSC concerning using that product. We plan to test it. So far they have not been able to deliver a working unit. They discovered some problem. Dennis Majikas is our contact with them. Tony | |||||
