A customer we are working with wishes DECsite to use an FDDI MIC patch
panel (not ST connectors).
Do we/Can we sell or support such an option.
Are there any problems with having no ST connectors, just MIC in the
cable plant ?
Is there a procedure for certifying new cabling products ?
Regards

Since "virtually anything" is "supportable" via a Cat C contract, the
answer is yes. However, "support", in this case, stops at the local office.

Limited flexibility.

Absolutely. See the DECconnect Fiber Optic Installation manual.
