As I reboot this machine , console display follow error message and cause that machine hold . " fza0: port in the halt state -> Host request to halt " -- 3 -- I know that FDDI-controller-700 could install on DS5000/200 and work very good , but I don't know whether FDDI-controller-700 can install on DS5100/125 machine or not . TO: DEFZA Early Ship Internal Sites Please be aware that the DEFZA-AA (DEC FDDIcontroller 700) units you have received as part of the early ship program are REV B and will not work with the new DECstation 100 and 125 systems. We have phased in a new chip that now supports all TURBOchannel-based DECstation and DECsystem 5000 devices, but are not planning to do an across-the-board upgrade. Hardware upgrades of the REV B boards will be done by Field Service on an as-needed basis. | |||||

C model number. -- 2 -- REV. C IC chips part number. |
