Helllo.
I was reading some articles on FDDI and became intrested in
this area,which left me with some questions on FDDI.
Can anyone shed some light on the follwing please
1. Are there any figures in terms of cost of standard 62.5/125 fibre
2. What type of customers will go for FDDI
3. I believe Digital expects to use FDDI in distinctive ways ie
Backbone and as Dedicated High Speed Network,what major features
are involved in these configurations.
4. What minimum FDDI products are needed to implement a FDDI network
5. What are the basic concepts that one must be aware of when implementing
FDDI in a VAX cluster environment
6. Is FDDI compatible with 802.1,802.2,802.4,802.5,what is the
compatability issue.
