Hi,

Can anyone point me to information regarding the QIO interface for the DEMFA
please? I have a customer who already wants to code even though he doesn't have
the device yet :-}

BTW, the driver for the DEMFA is EXdriver - true?

	It's the same as existing Ethernet programming interface.

	And, the driver is FXDRIVER. The EXDRIVER is for the DEMNA, the ethernet XMI interface. chuck

	I believe there are some additions to the interface, to do things that exist in FDDI but not Ethernet (e.g., deal with the FC field). But if you want to run an Ethernet-like application over the DEMFA, just pretend you're dealing with an Ethernet device and everything will work. paul

	DEMFA programming specifics (FXDRIVER) are in the VMS V5.4-3 Release Notes manual. Coming soon to a CD ROM near you. You can order a hard copy to get the info sooner.
