The Cabletron FDDI products consists of two bridge modules for their
smart hub product. The first one is an Ethernet-to-FDDI bridge module
that uses the encapsulation technique and is priced at $19,995. The
second one is a Token-ring-to-FDDI bridge module at the same price.
Again, these are modules that only work with the Cabletron's
intelligent wiring hub (MMAC) and can be used to attach the hub to an
FDDI ring.
