People, we has a little configuration problem. DS5000 DS5000 FDDI cntrl 700 FDDI cntrl 700 ULTRIX 4.1(52) ULTRIX 4.1(52) ! ! ! ! DECconcentrator 500 DECconcentrator 500 !________________________________! How can we configure the KERNEL to use the FDDI controller 700 ? Does we need a special SW driver for the controller ? If yes where is it ? In the SYSTEMNAME configuration file there is an entry like device fza0 at ibus2 vector ?????? Thanks -t.

Add this line in /sys/conf/mips/SYSNAME device fza0 at ibus2 vector fzaintr rebuild the kernel and move it to / reboot ifconfig fz0 hostname_fddi up All this work with ULTRIX 4.1 Ciao -t. |
