Can anyone tell me where I can get some information on "GIGANET".
Does DEC have any products in the works, planning going on,
possibly functional specs that I can get over the network???
Thanks,
John B.

Has this information changed? I get a mail reject... No notes/news conference? Is this different than SRC's Autonet? Rikki | |||||

Yes, the contact changed. Paul Callahan is gone.
The program leading to sales of GIGAswitch (tm) was announced at
DECworld, and a press kit describing this program was released on May 6.
Nearly the same information, in a less elegant format, can be fetched
from the April 1992 Sales Update article. $ VTX SALES_UPDATE_US .
If you have probing questions, contact the product manager,

There is no FRS schedule or pricing yet for public consumption.
