    The new card with Low Power Optics Port for the DECconcentrator 500,
    recently announced, has no ANSI FDDI connectors. In fact, the
    DEFCN-L*(commercial name) is equiped with ST connectors, this involves
    the following cabling:
    . Connection between DEFCN-L* and DECbridge 500 -----> BN24D-##
    . Connection between DEFCN-L* and DEFCN-N*/M*   -----> BN24D-##
    . Connection between DEFCN-L* and DEFCN-L*      -----> BN24E-##
    . Connection between DEFCN-L* and DEFZA-AA      _____> BN24E-##
    
    *   = A for factory installed
        = F for field-installed
    
    ##  = 01 (cable length: 1m)
        = 03 (cable length: 3m)
        = 4E (cable length: 4,5m)
        = 10 (cable length: 10m)
        = 20 (cable length: 20m)
        = 30 (cable length: 30m)

    DEFCN-M*  connexion card to the double ring FDDI or to a
              superior DECconcentrator 500(ANSI FDDI connectors)
    DEFCN-N*  connexion card with 4 ports for single attachment station

    DEFZA-AA  FDDI interface for DECstation/system 5000 Model 200
              (ST connectors)
