Will ULTRIX support the mop-protocol for triggering, remote booting ... etc. on the FDDI adapter a) for nodes on the ring b) for nodes on an ethernet connected through a bridge.

Caveat... "triggering" depends on whether the target hardware supports that. None of the current FDDI adapters do. paul | |||||

Sorry about that. The DEMFA (a.k.a. XFA, the FDDI to XMI adapter) DOES recognize MOP Trigger messages. The DS5000 adapter, though, does not. paul |
