    Question:
    
    	I have a FDDI network test environment, and the devices that are
    	or reside on the FDDI are a Sun workstaion (with an FDDI
    	controller), DB500, DECconcentrator 500, and a DECstation 5000 that
    	is on the Ethernet (off the DB500).  I ping the Sun system from the
    	DECstation 5000 (ultrix v4.0) and I see that the arp request is
    	cached in the arp cache.  The arp reply is sent by the Sun system
    	and I see that the arp reply reaches the ethernet but the
    	DECstation 5000 does nothing and the ping from the DECstation 5000
    	never receives a reply!!!  All this is being monitored via a HP-LAN
    	analyzer..
    
    	Any helpful hints or does someone know what is going on.....
    
    	Oh by the way, an arp (6) is what is being generated by the Sun
    	system (FDDI arp reply)....
