Will DEC by selling the fiberoptic cables used for FDDI DAS and SAS
connections (will there be DEC part numbers)? Are these the same
cables used for the fiberoptic DECConnect?

Yes,
Digital's NWSS group sells complete fiber optic services. From Raw
Cable, Design, Installation, Project Management, or Documentation, to full
turn-key projects.
There are no Digital-assigned part numbers for outdoor aerial/duct or
burial grade fiber optic cable. There are "Specification" part
numbers but they aren't orderable.
Speak with your local NWSS Sales Support person, who will happily go
out to your customer site with you to survey and create a quotation.
