As part of an RFI for a big insurance company in the Midwest, they
asked the following two questions. Can anyone help with an answer ???
(I have searched the conference for "modem" and "luxcom" and came up
dry.)
Has your system (assume a standard Digital network) operated on a
fiber optic network using LUXCOM modems ?
Describe the impact of Fiber Optic Network on your Image Management
System ?
Background - the RFI is looking for information about Digital's imaging
products, services, and strategy. As part of that, the network is a
very important piece. Therefore, they will naturally look into
Ethernet, Token Ring, and Fiber Optics.
