If you've got access to VTX and the Digital on-line library catalog
(keyword DLNCATALOG), then try looking up stuff under the subjects
FDDI or FIBER DISTRIBUTED DATA INTERFACE.

Be wary of the articles on FDDI. Many are written by AMD
employees and are slanted towards their chipset and strategies.

Are you in Europe? If so find somebody who went to Network uni or
Harrogate and borrow the FDDI for non techies booklets. Also the
learning centres that do tapes have stuff on FDDI etc etc that were
produced for an electronic course called FOFT.
