| I do not have a current DCU mortgage but I am thinking of moving to
them due to problems with my last two banks.
The problem I have is that my property is located in two towns thus
I get tax bills from both. quarterly from one town and bi-anually
from the other. They never seem to get this straight, We were
starting to figure our taxes and found that once again they did not pay
one town for Nov's tax bill. We are getting sick of having to keep
taps on the bank to make sure they pay the taxes that the DEMAND they
escrow.. I know this is an unusual circumstance but I was
wondering if any of you have had this problem. Do any of you use the
DCU and not have this problem?

| I don't have this problem. When I got my DCU refinance, they told
me that I could waive escrow on request. I don't know if they offer
that on *all* mortgages or not -- call and find out! I was heartily
sick of having to submit my bills to the bank for payment, so that
was one more thing about using DCU that made me happy.\

| I believe they'll waive escrow if your equity is over a certain percentage.
They had no problem waiving escrow for us.
