I found ten. I checked ELF against the numbers and only 4 came
up as still working here. The rest came up with the message:
No ELF Entries Satisfied Your Search Criteria.

Yes, in the Summer 1996 issue, I only found 8 account numbers as well. I went
over it quite a few times, but cannot locate the remaining 2 numbers.
I found 2 numbers on the first page, 3 numbers on the second page, 1 number on
the third page and 2 numbers on the fourth page.

| Hmm, are we talking about the same thing?
The one I received with this month's statements is only a single
sheet, front and back, so there are no 3rd and 4th pages. I found 10
numbers (4 front, 6 back).

| I'm talking about the big glossy NETWORK Summer 1996 4 page
brochure, and I can't find more than 8 numbers.

| I went through the four-page one last night, highlighting account
numbers with a yellow highlighter and highlighting non-account numbers
with a blue highlighter. At the end, I had all text, including table
headings and entries, text in illustrations, headlines, and so forth,
highlighted.
There are eight account numbers given -- unless they are counting
digit strings that appear in things like dates, routing numbers, page
numbers, and such, as "hidden" account numbers, or unless the two
missing account numbers were printed with white ink.
Perhaps we should all call in and ask for our $20 as our account
numbers were the ninth and tenth ones -- if the DCU disagrees, ask
they prove us wrong. ;-)

1003.10 | 8 numbers only because of article pulled | STARCH::brevet.shr.dec.com::WHALEN | | Fri Jul 19 1996 10:18 | 5 |
| A co-worker decided to call the DCU when she could also only find 8 numbers. She was
told that an article was pulled out of the Summer 1996 issue of Network, and they
forgot to put the 2 numbers that were in that article back in.
