| I suppose that this is a more general comment than a specific one about these
minutes.
It strikes me that five years ago, we as members were dealing with a BoD
and a CU Management team whose policies were defined by providing the
least amount of information and detail as possible to the membership
at large - the owners of the DEFCU.
Today, between the regular and timely submission of BoD minutes, and,
now, the distribution of the supervisory committee minutes, the Credit
Union has taken a 180 degree turn in their image, now presenting themselves
as the member-owned, openly communicative organization that all credit
unions should be.
I think that each of us that has been involved over the years in "making
noise" to get things changed for the better, can be thankful for what
we've accomplished.
The DEFCU is a far better place than it was at the beginning of the decade.
And, perhaps, a better place than it's been since its inception.
Let's keep it that way.

| I am very impressed that information is forth coming. This is a
positive and allows the members to be aware of what is going on and
possibly react to negetive changes, if they occur.
I commend the supervisory committee, DCU BOD and DCU management for for
turning the ship around.
Well done!
