| Ditto on .2 . Now the BoD can really *change* the DCU with their choice of a
new CEO. This house cleaning has been needed for a long time.

| This raises an interesting question, though -
How does it happen that there suddenly are three high level positions
available at the IBM CU? Do you suppose there was a mass Exodus when
Chuckles arrived?

I think it's a plot by DEC and DCU (which are totally disconnected
entities) to bring down IBM. You see, we distract all their engineers
with a big credit union flap, and then...
-------
I don't know about Prindle and Moran, but the departure of Ms. Madden
certainly bodes well for DCU member relations.

| With such obvious loyalty to Chuck, rather than the CU, I say
good riddance! I sure hope the DCU employees in the branch
offices can now see what their top managers were/are really
all about. Clean the place out from top to bottom and establish
DCU as a real CU.

>Maynard, MA - January 9, 1995 - The Digital Employees' Federal Credit
>Union (DCU) announced the voluntary resignations of Mary Madden,
>Vice President of Operations, Allan Prindle, Vice President of Lending,
>and Betty Moran, Vice President of Finance today. The three are leaving
>DCU to pursue opportunities at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in
>Poughkeepsie, New York.
It is with great pleasure that we see Sir Charles followers march to a
new battle. Mary "Just Say NO" Madden was the great IPP monger (Information
Protection Policy). She ruled with an iron hand and followed what her
boss (Sir Charles) told her to do. I feel sorry for IBM's credit union
(where Chuck and his 3 followers are at). They will change from a
credit union to a bank in 2 to 3 years.
I foresee the change in management to get the credit union back to its
roots and better things to come for the membership. It will take 6-12
months, maybe longer to undo all the policies and regulations that have
been implemented.
I congratulate the members who hung in there and fought the good fight.
We are on our way to reclaim the credit union and some major hurdles
have left.

| I think its best if you follow up your thoughts with a note to your
directors. I *think* I detect again, like last time we thought we
elected RC people, some newbies may be banking to a different tune.
Its always best to keep a dialog with them to remind them of their
campain promises. No, I am not talking about Phil and Chris.
