                                                   September 26, 1994

   Dear DCU Members,

I wish to thank all DCU members that participated in the 1994 DCU
Board of Directors Election. Membership participation in DCU's
elections is critical to ensuring that our credit union policies
and practices serve the needs of the entire membership. It is also
to the membership's credit that they endured through a very long,
and far from normal, election process.

I especially wish to thank all those DCU members that voted for Chris,
Dave and myself. We've gone through quite a bit more than we had
anticipated when we started this journey, but your support and
confidence in our abilities and ideas have made it all worthwhile.
I am more committed than ever to making DCU a credit union that all
DCU members can use, and want to use, as their primary financial
   institution.

In order to accomplish that task, we will need the help of *all* DCU
members. The turmoil of the last few years have caused many DCU
to re-consider their relationship with DCU. Many members have left
DCU and while others have reduced their usage of the credit union.
I would like to ask all DCU members, as well as former DCU members, to
please consider using DCU again. I, as well as everybody else at DCU,
are committed to making DCU the best credit union it can be. We ask
for your support and business now, and in the future.

   Thank you,
   Phil Gransewicz
