	Does the DCU still charge fees ($2.50+) on accounts with no
	activity in the past X number of months?

	I had a DCU account and had money in it, but today I went to the
	DCU (in LKG) to trade in some coins (properly wrapped and with
	my badge number on it) but they refused to accept it because they
	said my account has been closed.

	I'd re-open my account but I'm afraid they will simply fee the
	account to death again.  None of my other credit unions (Triangle
	Federal [ala Nashua Corp] or ABCU [Anheiser-Bush]) charge fees
	if you don't have any activity on the account, as long as you keep
	the min. balance.  Since it's been seven years since I last opened
	the DCU account, I'd like to know if the policy/fee structures
	have changed in this regard.

	If you don't use your checking account they will close it for you. I got a letter in the mail in early May telling me this. I had to have one transaction to keep it open. I just so happens I was about to have multiple transactions, so I didn't worry about it. Of course, it's another new policy that stinks, but that goes without saying. If you are a relationship member, they probably didn't take the money by fees. It probably got moved to your share 1 account. A check of your monthly or quarterly statements should clear this up. In any case, they took the fees directly out of my savings account (until of course they ended up feeing the account to death)

I did find topics 720 and 721 on fees, but it was content free as far as what the fees currently are. If anyone has a pointer to such a topic let me know! Thanks!
