June Board Meeting @ MKO1
Hi everybody,
Just thought I'd drop you all a note and let you know that the DCU Board of
Directors is meeting at MKO1 from 2:30-5:00 next Tuesday, June 28. The meeting
is in the Merrimack Conference Room (MKO1-2/H24). The Board meeting will not
be open to members but we are ending at 5pm in order to meet with members from
5-6pm.
I'm not sure if any of this has been publicized within the company. This
would be a very good opportunity to meet your Board members and get any
questions you have answered.

One thing that become apparent was that I knew more about the financials then most of the BOD... They kept having to have another DCU VP answer questions. The feeling I get, is that the train is going down the track and the BOD is leaving the job of looking ahead to DCU management. I did talk to a person from DCU about how the 20.2% annualized savings increase was computed... This is done as of January 1. This makes the numbers look good. I mentioned they SHOULD be mentioning the same number as compared to 1 year ago to put it into perspective. There is no doubt in my mind that only the good numbers are given and the 'bad' numbers tend to be not mentioned... - mark | |||||

Which BoD members attended ?
Do you think the BoD members kept referring to the VPs for answers
because they didn't know the answers, or because they wanted to
ensure the correct spin was put on the answers ?

Present: Phil, Gail, Tom,
Not present (or I forgot): Paul K., Paul M., Tanya (not 100% sure, she might
have been there...)

When asked, they did not know.
