These were my changes to these minutes to accurately reflect the origin
of this motion. They were not allowed.

"Mr. Gransewicz requested that DCU management consider the waiving
of the $5.00 Holiday Club closing fee since many members were
unaware of some of the additional restrictions being placed on the
	 new Holiday Club."

> A Board of Directors' telephone vote was conducted for the following
> motion, moved by Mr. Gransewicz and seconded by Ms. Ross:
>
> * It is recommended that the $5.00 Holiday Club Closing Fee be waived
> through the end of March, 1994 and, that DCU Management be given the
> authority to write a VaxNote to that effect to be posted by Mr. Gransewicz.
> MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

It would be interesting to see the impact of these changes. Is
information available on the number of accounts before and after the
changes? It might help answer the question of whether or not this is
the type of Holiday Club account members want. A related question
would be is there a correlation between the number of Holiday Club
Accounts closed and the number of other Club accounts being opened, in
other words, did this system drive business away or did it channel it
    into other places within DCU?
