| I run into this all the time. When it says "enter a number", I
purposely make a mistake (press # only) and then it gives me a
list of valid entries.

I've run into this as well. They are correctly trying to save the time of
frequent users by keeping the chatter down. However, they don't have an
"out" for the infrequent user. If the systems were set up for 9# to give
out a menu and say that at the entry into the system it would be a lot
friendlier.

I've got one of the 'little' pamphlets with instructions.
What's your FAX number?

737.5 | I guess there not going to answer... | CSC32::S_ROCHFORD | | Tue Feb 01 1994 08:48 | 4 |
| Was anybody from the DCU planning on answering the question? It can't
be that hard to update easytouch so that it gives menu options in
real-time. Many other banks and credit unions are capable of putting
together a decent touch-tone phone system why can't the DCU?

737.6 | for a DCU answer, contact DCU | PACKED::COLLIS::JACKSON | DCU fees? NO!!! | Tue Feb 01 1994 09:34 | 7 |
| This notesfile is not the place to go to get an
answer from DCU. It is a place to share opinions and
information amongst Digital employees. Maybe this is
about to change, but it hasn't happened yet.
To get an answer from DCU, call DCU or talk to someone
at your local branch.
