635.0. "Vacations and PCs" by XLIB::SCHAFER (Mark Schafer, ISV Tech. Support) Wed Jan 13 1993 13:40

In recent days, Digital has changed its vacation policy in a way that
will prompt employees to take more vacation in 1993, and eliminated
the payroll deduction for PCs purchased by employees.

Is there anything that DCU can gain from these changes? Does the DCU
have anything to promote to its members that are considering vacations
    and PC purchases?

DCU has computer loans. Or did. I used one to buy my Rainbow about 7
years ago. Nothing like the 0 interest deal DEC was offering but still
pretty good. What with payroll deduction and all. I think that DCU also
offers other loans that one could use for vacation money. For myself I
can't relax on vacation knowing it's not paid for yet.

I believe they also offer a vacation club account.

According to the pink Rate Information flyer dated 4 January 93,
the Digital Computer Loan APR is 12.00% based on automatic
payment methods (automatic transfer or payroll deduction) for
the full term of the loan. Add 0.5% if other than automatic payment.
