I have been a member of Credit Unions in the past that offered Education
Programs on how to understand and handle money. I think that it would be
a valuable service if the DCU could provide this type of service to our
members. It should also help many of our co-members plan for their future.
Sellling our members a credit card for a line of credit is not a service to
those people. Members should understand the alternatives that are available so
that they don't end up paying the highest rate possible for any credit line
that they may need.
