I just received the ballot paper yesterday.I was surprised to see so many
senior DEC people ) VEE PEES and PEE VEES as NOMINATED candidates.
Already as senior officers of the company their schedules plates must
be full and they will hardly have any time to do DCU work. It is hard
for me to imagine they just do DO DA DO DA in their regular jobs and
hence have all the time in the world to do DCU work.
I felt that most of these PEE VEES who are nominated may be using this
as additional status symbol to beef up their resume and nothing else.
Hey ! let them focus on their main job and make DEC more successful.
Also once these PEE VEEs are elected it is difficult to approach
them- Our calls will get filtered out by these NOMINATED's secretaries
and in many cases the calls will never be returned. ( Heck- Some of
these folks have not even returned the official calls I made on DEC
    business )....
Hence I decided to vote for 7 REAL CHOICE candidates. I hope they win !
    Nobody asked- Just my opinion.

| | After reading all the infomation that was sent via the official ballot,
and the information that I got from the notes file. I was pleasantly
surprised, at the background, that the candidates had. i.e. choice
people. I was also impressed by the background of the two people that
got on the petition on their own. I hope my vote helps turn DCU around.

    Please vote.
    Dave

| | re .3:
Actually, all of the petition candidates had greater or lesser degrees of
help from the volunteer group in collecting their signatures, plus a couple
of other people who did not submit petition forms. The "real choices"
candidates are a subset of the group that the volunteers collected signatures
for -- they are the ones who chose to campaign together.
	Enjoy,

| | I, too, would like to take this opportunity, post-voting, to thank
all the contributors to this notesfile for keeping us so well informed.

The candidates inparticular have worked endlessly to make this
election as honest as possible and I think I speak for many of us
silent readers when I say ....Thanks for a job well done.

I don't think I have ever been so well prepared or anxious to cast a
    ballot.

| | I'd like to add my 2 cents worth if I may.

My personal thanks to all of the petition candidates and the volunteers
who assisted you. You have enabled at least this voter to make
intelligent choices on who will run the DCU in the future. Your
openness and honesty has been refreshing but most of all I appreciate
ALL the intelligent questions you have posed to the Board for the past
year or so. Without these questions the truth may have been hidden
from us for much longer than one would expect. I look forward to
seeing your names announced at the meeting in April.....as the NEW and
IMPROVED Board of the DCU!!!!! Good-luck and best wishes.

| | Also a RON up to this point...but I feel inspired to jump in with my
two cents worth. This notesconference truly enabled me to feel
empowered, and to be informed, and thus, to cast an "intelligent"
ballot. I "campaigned" for one of the "Real Choice" candidates, and
busily distributed to my own wide readership all of the excellent
information Phil G. worked so hard to put together and get out on the
Net. I therefore have the illusion that I have been some small part of
helping us to reclaim our own CU. I have cast my ballot, making my
choices ONLY from the excellent petition candidates, and am praying
like all get out for success for all of us, especially all of YOU who
have devoted so much time and effort to prying the facts from the
recalcitrant DCU BoD, and putting fingers to the keyboard, and getting
the word out. Thanks to all of you, and you know who you are! :^)

    TGIF, and here's to success!
