DIGITAL EMPLOYEES' FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
MORTGAGE UPDATE
To provide improved service and greater efficiency during the
mortgage application process, members who are refinancing may
request a mortgage application be mailed to them.
Recently, our Mortgage department has received a substantially
higher than normal amount of application requests for
refinancing that has caused a backlog. This backlog of
applications will be mailed this week. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may have caused.
Beginning January 26, DCU will mail all application requests
for refinancing within one day. For home purchases,
appointments will be scheduled for members within one week of
the request.
For mortgage rates, please call our Hotline at DTN/223-3887 or
508/493-3887. If you need more information about DCU's
Mortgage program, please call DTN/223-6735 or 508/493-6735,
ext. 316.
DCU's First Mortgages are offered in Massachusetts, New
Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New York, New Jersey, and Colorado.

This is untrue. I went to DCU on January 26th, and submitted my name to get an
application. It is February 4th, no application, yet.

427.2 | DCU called me on Saturday | JOKUR::JOKUR::FALKOF | | Tue Feb 04 1992 12:11 | 8 |
| About the time of .0, I called to make an appt for refinancing my
mortgage (which is held by DCU, was not sold off). A week ago Saturday, I
received a phone call (yes, on Saturday) by a pleasant sounding DCU
employee asking if it would be ok to send me the application form in
the mail. I said yes. it arrived several days later by US mail.
No judgement drawn here, but just to tell folks that there was at least
one instance of good work, IMO.
