Hello !
Since last week DCU made neither change. They started clearing check
after 5PM and before 8PM. They don't clear check during day time
anymore. And if you make loan payment after 5PM it considered next
day's transaction. So if there is a overdraft and it goes to your CRT
to pay for this then you are going to pay atleast one day interest even
though you make payment same day either through ATM or easy touch. I
found out this hard way. Overdraft came into my account yesterday
evening. I called easy touch around 10:30PM and found out I have been
already tagged with the interest. I paid it off. But I talked to DCU
branch and member services on this. I will be getting credit for the
interest I paid. I also asked them to inform the membership on this
change and they said they are going to do it. This is just FYI.
