310.0. "Addresses for CC: of letters" by LJOHUB::SYIEK () Fri Oct 11 1991 15:04

For convenience sake (to provide reference to a single base note for
anyone who is writing letters), I suggest posting all relevant
addresses as replies to this note. I've started by re-posting the
addresses for the NCUA and for Senator Kerry, identifying each in
    the reply title.

You can send your written complaints to the NCUA at the following
    address:

    		National Credit Union Administration
    		Mr. Layne Bumgardner
    		9 Washington Square
    		Washington Ave. Extension
    		Albany, NY 12205

    		518-472-4554

Mr. Bumgardner is the Regional Director.

I caution people writing complaints to not just complain about something
that is easily dismissed. Some of the lesser complaints are fine as
items 3,4 or 5 on your list of complaints. You should write about things
that can be supported by evidence. Include as much documentation as you
can get your hands on to support your complaint. If people require
copies of any materials I have to support their complaints, please feel
free to contact me. The more information you provide to support your
case, the more attention you're likely to get.

I also urge each of you to copy your Senator and Congressman concerning
any complaints. The banking industry as a whole is under close
scrutiny. They are making real changes on how these institutions are
run and overseen. They should be made aware of many aspects of this
    situation.

Having talked with Senator Kerry's office in Boston, they suggest that
letters to the Senator should ask for his assitance, and he will get
the NCUA to look into the situation.

    		Senator Kerry
    		Transportaion Building
    		10 Park Plaza
