You can send your written complaints to the NCUA at the following
address:
National Credit Union Administration
Mr. Layne Bumgardner
9 Washington Square
Washington Ave. Extension
Albany, NY 12205
518-472-4554
Mr. Bumgardner is the Regional Director.
I caution people writing complaints to not just complain about something
that is easily dismissed. Some of the lesser complaints are fine as
items 3,4 or 5 on your list of complaints. You should write about things
that can be supported by evidence. Include as much documentation as you
can get your hands on to support your complaint. If people require
copies of any materials I have to support their complaints, please feel
free to contact me. The more information you provide to support your
case, the more attention you're likely to get.
I also urge each of you to copy your Senator and Congressman concerning
any complaints. The banking industry as a whole is under close
scrutiny. They are making real changes on how these institutions are
run and overseen. They should be made aware of many aspects of this
situation.
