I also would like to know who the board members are
AND their Email addresses if they are DEC employees.
The way I see it, after major mgm't screw-ups, they are
just another institution telling us to grab our ankles
to pay for it.

254.2 | List of BOD & EMAIL | SEGAL::SEGAL | Len Segal, MLO6-1/U30, 223-7687 | Mon Aug 12 1991 08:55 | 15 |
| Could someone list the BOD and their EMAIL addresses? Sending
copies of (civilized) letters to each snd every one of them might be
effective in getting the point across.
To respond to earlier reply, ALL of the BOD are DECcies (I think
that it is a requirement).
Here's a starter:
Mark (PICKET::) STEINKRAUSS
Dan (CORMTS::) INFANTE
That's all the names I recall.

| A couple months ago, I wrote to all of them regarding the Mangone
issue. Here is the list I sent my A1 mail to. Some of them have
VAXmail addresses as well; all of these addresses comes from ELF.
Needless to say, I intend to send another to these folks
immediately, and to move my funds elsewhere.
I do intend to leave my $5.00 savings account intact, so that I
still have the oportunity to vote these <explitive deleted> out of
office, no matter how long it takes. Until then, The Digital (not)
Employees Federal Credit Union has seen (but not heard) the last
of me :-(

Hmmmm.... Susan Shapiro is also listed as the Treasurer. Are
there no restrictions to holding 2 major positions in the DCU?
I also received from Mary Madden the following names of DCU senior
management of DCU:
Claire Beaudoin, acting Manager and chairperson of the DCU Credit Comm.
Harry Goralnick, Director of Finance & Operations
Ann Connell, Director of Branch Administration
Elizabeth Hartel, Director of Human Resources
These four people along with the BoD make the major decisions of DCU.
Please remember these people are NOT Digital employees.

I tried ALL-IN-1 on this list, but "CHARLENE O'BRIEN @PKO" got rejected. If you
use ALL-IN-1, suggest you leave out the "'" and send to CHARLENE OBRIEN

Three members of the current BoD will be up for re-election next year
if they decide to run again:
Jeff Gibson, Jack Rugheimer and Abbot Weiss
All of those directors have completed their first term of office (3
years).
The year after, I believe that Dan Infante and Susan Shapiro will be up
for re-election.
The year after that, Charlene O'Brien and Mark Steinkrauss. (last
year's winners)
I am awaiting word from Mary Madden on how long the other 4 directors
have been in office.

254.9 | Correction and more info | GUFFAW::GRANSEWICZ | I'M DCU and you're not. | Thu Aug 29 1991 09:50 | 24 |

I have received copies of the ballot, nominees write-ups and
election results for the last 4 years. I have a correction to my
previous note.
Only two members of the current BoD will be up for re-election next year
if they decide to run again: Jeff Gibson & Jack Rugheimer.
They were both re-elected in 1988 so have been on the board at least
two terms (6 years).
The year after, Dan Infante, Susan Shapiro and Abbott Weiss will be up
for re-election. Dan Infante has been on the BoD since 1980, Susan
Shapiro since 1981. Abbott Weiss was re-elected in 1990 so he has been
on the Board at least 6 years.
The year after that, Charlene O'Brien and Mark Steinkrauss (last
year's winners) will be up for re-election. Charlene O'Brien has been
on the Board of Directors since 1979 and Mark Steinkrauss since 1981.
This information is from Mary Madden with some corrections. Several of
the BoD were stated as being on the Board only since 1988. However, an
examination of the recent ballots indicated they were re-elected, not
new directors.

Found out why the length of service for 3 of the BoD (Gibson, Rugheimer,
Weiss) didn't quite match up with the ballots I had. Seems all three
were appointed to their BoD positions. They had an 'incumbent'
designation next to their name when their name appeared on the ballot
the first time they actually ran for office. So I thought they served
a full term. From what I recall, their writeups didn't mention
anything about being appointed. Have to re-read them tonight to make
sure.
Another suggestion DCU: How about a "*" for an elected incumbent and
a "**" for an appointed incumbent. There IS a difference to many people.
Does anybody remember BoD resignations and subsequent appointments being
publicized? Any notice in DCU literature? I didn't recall anything
being mentioned in the DCU Annual Reports for the period.

Besides the meetings whose minutes the current Secretary has been
posting (and a pair of "out of region" meetings which the President
will attend), is there anything else that they do?

What other responsibilities do these positions entail?
