243.0. "VISA $6000.00 minimum" by SOLVE::POLIKOFF (DLB5 3/B10 Marlboro 291-8875) Mon May 06 1991 11:36

Since we now have to charge $6000.00 per year in order to get the
annual fee waived, I called and asked when they were going to put a
running total on the monthly statement. "She" told me that "she" did not
know if they were going to do this. She asked me if I had a copy of
all my bills and if so that I could add them all up. I do not keep by
monthly statements so she said that she would add them all up for me
    and call me back.
I think a computer can do this faster and I suppose that she will
be doing a lot of adding because many more people will probably call
asking for their total, especially around December to see whether or not
they should cancel their DCU VISA card.
As someone stated in a previous note, for those of us that pay the
VISA bill in full each month, the A T & T card which I just got is the
way to go or to use any of the many no cost credit cards.
As I see it there are two ways to get DCU to add the running total
to each statement, all of us that have DCU VISA credit cards can send
in a request to have the running total put on our statements or all of
us can call and ask them for our present total.

    Sounds like note 220.0.

Since I've already made up my mind to cancel come December [and it
sounds like I'm not alone], they can keep the running charge total
    to themselves.
