your site lost so many people that DCU is reducing in response to real
or anticipated reduction in its own workload? There is no reason for
DCU to "participate" in any of DECs downsizing efforts, since they are
not a part of DEC financially.

Actually, I was trying to figure out why the teller was laid off.
The BTO population has decreased as has the total DEC population.
I was simply asking if other DCU sites were affected by DEC reductions
in the work force. I do realize that DCU is a separate operation that
has no financial ties with DEC.
As long as DCU members keep an active account balance, they're still
allowed to keep their money at DCU. So, just because DEC's population
goes down, does not mean that DCU's membership goes down.
