213.0. "Board Of Directors" by FENNEL::LUCIANO () Thu Apr 26 1990 15:35

I just received word that the election of the 1990 Board of
Directors is final....all incumbents have won re-election....I was
on the ballot, but did not win....

I thank all who voted for me....and congratulate the newly elected
    board.

    Thanks.....Congratulations....See you next year!

I sure didn't vote for ANY of the incumbents. I was afraid of possibly
falling into the baby-with-the-bathwater trap, but did it just the
    same.

Don't give up. Run again next year. You will get my vote again.
Maybe by then DCU will have shot enough holes in its foot that people
will be ready for a change.

Considering the fact that they have stewardship of my money (and presumably
yours), I can't imagine why you would pray for mismanagement on their part!?

Maybe I'm reading you wrong, but I can't imagine someone wanting their own
credit union to perform badly.

    re: .2

I'm for anything that will improve relations between DCU and its
members. Given the past history of DCU with the current BOD and the
fact that all the current BOD members we re-elected, I don't see DCU
doing business differently in the future. Hence it will continue to
shoot holes in its foot and maybe enough people will get tired of it
    and vote for a change.

No, they don't have any of my money, (except that required to remain a
member) and they won't get any until things change for the better. I
have more faith in my potentially insolvent savings and loan than I do
    DCU.

Re: .2

>>> continue to shoot holes in its foot <<<

Can you give any recent or general examples of what you mean by that?

>>> have more faith in my potentially insolvent savings and loan than I do
     DCU <<<

What would cause you to say that?

What kind of changes are you looking for?

(Understand that I am asking these questions simply for the face value of the
answers, and not to be argumentative or to rebut your responses for sport.)
