| Fellow noters...
I have taken the liberty of inviting Mary Madden (John Tilley's

entered by yours truely..). If she take me up on the invitiation,
you'll be the first to know (right here of course!).

It's certainly refreshing to read an official response which doesn't
sound like it's been extracted from the DCU promotional literature.
Let's hope Mary Madden continues the trend.

Each new DCU employee attends a two week intensive training program.
These programs are designed to educate the new employee about our
computer system, products, policies and procedures. Often times, when
a member calls or visits one of our branches with questions they may be
speaking with a new employee who is still learning about DCU. In
trying to be helpful, they sometimes unintentionally provide inaccurate
information. As new members of our organization, a Customer Service
Representative (teller) may not always be able to distinguish between a
policy, a procedure, and a regulation, as their focus is member service
in a helpful and friendly manner. If you, our member, remain uncertain
about the information you receive, we strongly urge you to contact our
communications department (Mary Madden or Ken Masson): 508/493-6735 or
DTN/223-6735 ext. 239 or 207.
As an organization, we are committed to employee excellence. We
schedule each employee to attend follow up training sessions which
focus on new products, DCU policies and procedures, and Federal
Regulations.

| RE: <<< Note 103.6 by WORDS::BADGER "One Happy camper ;-)" >>>
Hi Ed;
Yes... I'm still here. Several technical and non-technical glitches have
impacted my ability to get timely extractions to DCU and therefore has
delayed DCU's ability to respond.
I moved my assignment location (MR01 to MOO) and Cost Center site (TWO to
ACO) in approximately the same frame. The resulting node/cluster transition
has been quite a challenge. In the midst of this, I thought my assignment
(internal) customer should get the balance of my time.
Notes from 8-MAR-1991 on have been sent today to Mark Steinkrauss. It is of
course up to DCU as to when and which notes will get responses.
Still here... still at it... same priorities... just more glitches.
Your faithful notes extractor,
Carl
