As I stated in one of my earlier notes, I had 'closed' my IRA
at the DCU and at that time I was initially told that I would not
accrue any interest for this quarter. However, I did not close
the account just transferred the money, and with this month's
statement, the interest for this quarter was applied.
If I had truly closed out the account, I would not have received
the interest earned.

| Same here. See note 13.* for what you are in for, for the next
12 months. So now what do we have to do? Close the closed account
to get the remainder out? More bother the depositors have to go
through...

| I think you have to be careful with how you handle that interest!
Better check the IRA tax laws.

| The same thing occured with me --- interest carryover over account
"closure". You need to do a rollover to transfer interest to another
tax defered (IRA) account or pay penality. I did a non-reportable
transfer to another IRA and submitted on official DCU form to close
the account.
