What is the market like for Used Handheld Phones ?
I have an OKI 1150 setup - Slim Battery, Extended
Battery, Dual Battery Desktop Charger, Enhanced
Hands-Free Car Kit (accepts 3Watt Booster, but not
included). The whole thing is like new - in fact
the phone is brand new, and being shipped to me
in the next couple days (insurance replacement).
I'm thinking of selling this setup, and attempting
to replace it with a D-AMPS setup (probably the Nokia
2160 w/ accessories).
I'm into the OKI for about a $1000 overall, and am
curious what I should ask for a price on the package
to sell it outright - (This would be a phone with
zero air-time on its internal counters - i.e. new)
Any Thoughts ???
Also - anyone know the best place to purchase a
2160 to get the best $$$ on accessories etc. (I
understand it is $199 via Cell-One / Corporate
Plan w/ a $50 air-time rebate) This is a new
activation as the old OKI was tied in with BANM.
Hopefully this will hold me over for a year or
so until the "real" PCS stuff is available in this
area (1900MHz as opposed to the 800MHz stuff available
now)
Thanks For any feedback (here, or via email to
[email protected], or mse1::chenis)
Ken
