I have run my laptop through a Megahertz XJ4288M 28.8K cellular/fax modem [this modem includes the Motorola cable] over TCP/IP with no problems, except for the 9600 baud rate. However, I was running at 4800 baud until Cellular ONE service inf- ormed me of the *3282 prefix that can be used for data connection. It also works for dial-in via Hyperterm to VMS using a COM port. |
