    MY customer has the following problem when he starts CDE.
    
    Fatal server error:
    
    Failed to establish all listening socekts
    XMD error (pid 592) : Server unexpected died
    xmd error (pid 592) : server not display : 0 can'tbe started, session
    disable.
    xdm error (pid 592) : Cannot convert Internet Adress 202.45.90.54 to
    host name
    warning : cannot convert string
    "-*Menu-Medium-R-Normal--*-120-*-*-P-*-ISO8859
    
    What is the problem ? Can how he display the menu screen ? Any advice
    should be appreciated.

Hi,

Based on the error messages provided, 
this appears not to be a CDE problem.
If you can login to the system, shutdown CDE (dtlogin) by doing this.
#/sbin/init.d/xlogin stop

Then at the console
#/usr/bin/X11/xdm

Is the customer able to start xdm?
