Hi, Its a novice issue: is it possible run 2 CDE sessions on a single VXT2000+ (12MB)? Can switch from one to another? I have 2 systems in cluster - Dunix 4.0b - 8200 and 8400 - and i have only one Xterminal (VTX2000+). I can launch CDE from both systems, works fine, but only one at time. Can i have simultaneous CDE sessions running in XTERMINALS? Tks. Leandro.

No. A CDE "session" startups up the window manager and a slew of other stuff that presumes that only one session controls the display at a time. However, you can start a standard CDE session from one of the cluster members and then start as many applications as you wnat on the second cluster members (terminal windows, process monitors, etc). You can group the sets of application windows running on each node into different dtwm workspaces and then switch back and forth between the node A and node B workstpaces. pete | |||||
