This is a two part question. I'd like to install a later version of Tcl/Tk, as there are apps I want to use while won't work on the default version installed with V4.0. So .. a) Is there anything in CDE which is dependant on Tcl/Tk? b) if so, is it version sensitive? I imagine this might mostly affect the sysman apps, so I'll have to ask elsewhere concerning those. -John [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

>> a) Is there anything in CDE which is dependant on Tcl/Tk? No, nothing in the CDE base uses Tcl/Tk, just the sysman apps. For Steel, the Tcl/Tk versions are being upgraded to 7.6/4.2... |
