Did any errors occur during the install? Did you check the tlinstal.log
file to see where the installation thought the staging directory should
go? The install will check to see if the directory exists and if not
try and create it. If an error had occurred creating the directory
the install would have stopped with an error.

>When in the installation procedure are create the directories ?

The install tries to create any directories it needs to right
before it starts copying all the files.

>Can I modify this ???

I don't know of a way to modify when this occurs. Check to log. That
might give a clue as to what happened.

Hi Helen,

thank you for your quick answer.

In the TLInstal.Log the value of Staging-Path is empty.
If I retry this installtion it works !

But I think it is always interestet to modify this
values by hand.

Thank you !

Thomas

Glad it works now. Perhaps you blanked out the path
by accident?

I did try an installation and modified the path for the
staging directory to something other than what we put in
as the default. Install worked ok and created the new
directory. So, I'm not certain what happened in your
installation. If you can reproduce it, let us know.

Thanks...helen
